Contract Type: Full Time - Fixed term until September 2026
Salary: Circa £35,000
Responsible to: Paralympic Head Coach
Summary of role:
British Curling is seeking a self-motivated, creative and strategic team player to fill a new key and dynamic role within the organisation to set up, lead and effectively manage the introduction of a ground-breaking pathway system for Paralympic sport, working closely with our Paralympic Head Coach to identify talent for the Milan-Cortina cycle and beyond. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual with strong communication skills to shape and develop the future of Paralympic sport within an organisation that is looking to build on its growing reputation for identifying and nurturing world class talent that consistently excels in the global arena.
Background:
British Curling is the Governing Body responsible for delivering medal winning moments at Olympic, Paralympic, World and European Championships and as such we are one of the most successful British Winter Olympic sports.
We are the only British performance programme based in Scotland and we are currently looking to enhance our vibrant team on the World Class Performance Programme at the start of a new Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games cycle, as we look to build on the successes enjoyed in Beijing 2022.
Candidates will ideally possess a passion and interest in curling and performance sport.
