British Curling has been through a period of rapid and exciting change within our governance, culture and the focused centralised programme for our elite athletes. Our role is to deliver performance success on the ice, short and long term. To do that we need to maintain the strong governance we have in place, a strong effective partnership between the Executive Team and Non-Executive Board.
Following on from a successful 2022 Winter Olympic Games and with the incumbent Chair stepping down as a result of being elected to the World Curling Federation Board, we seek to appoint a new Chair person and up to two Non Executive Board Members to continue the momentum.
British Curling encourages applicants with business skills and experience out-with curling and whilst experience is desirable, applicants will be considered who seek to develop their Board experience. We would particularly welcome applications from candidates with backgrounds that are under-represented on our current board.
