British Curling is pleased to confirm two temporary changes to staff roles as a direct result of our Executive Performance Director Nigel Holl being seconded on a part time basis to work for UK Sport, the agency that invests in World Class Programmes and as a result enables British Curling to deliver its Olympic, Paralympic and World Championship ambitions.
Nigel continues to lead British Curling alongside his secondment to work on a performance project with UK Sport, focusing on the Chief Executive element of his dual role.
In order to ensure British Curling continues to deliver its programmes with business as usual through the secondment period, two key promotions have been made. Stephanie Stewart takes on the role of Interim Chief Operating Officer (leading on all business and operational functions) whilst Dave Leith steps up into the role of Interim Performance Director.
These temporary promotions will ensure no negative impact on the day-to-day training, leadership, management or support for Scotland and GB’s best and aspiring curlers.
