Going for Gold
British Curling provides a wide array of support in the development and preparation of athletes to be among the world’s best.
British Curling is the organisation that manages and develops elite curling in Britain. We are responsible for delivering an elite performance programme for the sport that will ensure British curlers can achieve their potential and, ultimately, deliver medals in Olympic and Paralympic competition.
British Curling works in close partnership with its principal funder UK Sport, Performance Programme partner sportscotland institute of sport and British Curling’s member organisations: the Royal Caledonian Curling Club/Scottish Curling, English Curling Association, Welsh Curling Association and the Scottish Wheelchair Curling Association.

PERFORMANCE PROGRAMME
As the national governing body for elite curling across the United Kingdom, British Curling provides the facilities and support mechanisms to maximise the chances of success on the global stage of our current and our most promising athletes, through our world class performance programme.
Our headquarters, the National Curling Academy in Stirling, is an inspirational facility which was completed in 2017 thanks to more than £3.15m funding from Stirling Council and sportscotland and where on ice training is delivered by our high performance coaching team.
