About British Curling

British Curling is the national governing body for one of the UK’s most successful Winter Olympic and Paralympic programmes.

Responsible for delivering medal winning moments at Olympic, Paralympic, World and European Championships, we work closely with our partners at Scottish, English and Welsh Curling, UK Sport and sportscotland.

The organisation has recently undertaken a fundamental review of our approach and operations and there is a vibrant team in place (new thinking balanced with experience) focused on the upcoming Winter Olympic and Paralympics in Beijing in 2022 and the World and European Championships between then and now.

There are currently two vacancies at British Curling - Performance Operations Manager (Maternity Leave Cover) and Performance Programme Administrator. 

Vacancy: Performance Operations Manager (Maternity Leave Cover)
Location: National Curling Academy, The Peak, Forthside Way, Stirling, FK8 1QZ
Contract Type: Fixed term until August 2022 (Maternity Cover)
Salary: Circa £35,000
Responsible to: Executive Performance Director

Summary of role:

British Curling is seeking a diligent and highly organised professional to fill a key and dynamic role within the organisation to lead and effectively manage the operations support for the British Curling World Class Performance Programme (Olympic and Paralympic disciplines) as well as the Scottish Performance Foundation Programme.

Background:
British Curling is the Governing Body responsible for delivering medal-winning moments at Olympic, Paralympic, World and European Championships and as such we are one of the most successful British Winter Olympic sports.

We are the only British performance programme based in the heart of Scotland in Stirling and we are currently looking for a talented, driven and enthusiastic individual to join our vibrant team on the World Class Performance Programme at an exciting and crucial time as we build towards the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in Beijing 2022.

Candidates will ideally possess a passion and interest in curling and performance sport.
