DIRECTORS SOUGHT TO JOIN BRITISH CURLING BOARD
British Curling, the national governing body for one of the UK’s most successful Winter Olympic and Paralympic programmes, is looking to recruit up to four new Non Executive Directors to help drive the sport forward.
The organisation will come under new leadership next month following the recruitment from UK Athletics of its Interim Chief Executive Nigel Holl, when he takes over as British Curling’s Executive Performance Director and the Board is now aiming to bring in additional expertise.
“Non Executive Directors can make a significant contribution so, to maximise our chances of achieving our strategic objectives, we are now looking to make these appointments at what is an exciting time for our sport as we build towards the next Winter Olympics and Paralympics in Beijing in 2022,” said British Curling’s Chair John Harris.
“Candidates will ideally possess a passion and interest in curling, as well as skills and experience in areas such as strategic financial management and oversight, elite performance management, change management and sports governance.”
The closing date for applications is 31st October 2019.
