BRITISH CURLING ANNOUNCES NEW CHAIR

British Curling is delighted to announce the appointment of John Harris as Chair of the Board, on an interim basis.  Harris joins British Curling providing leadership and significant experience of the elite British sporting landscape through his ongoing role as Chair of British Shooting.

His appointment and experience strengthens the Board of British Curling at an important time, as the search for a new Executive Performance Director is ongoing.

Harris commented: “I am delighted to have been asked to assist British Curling and I look forward to working with everyone involved with the elite programme.”

British Curling also welcomes Phil Reid as Interim Performance Director from 1 June. Reid has been seconded to the role from Sportscotland, replacing Graeme Thompson and he will remain in post until the new Executive Performance Director is appointed.
