British Curling Performance Director Graeme Thompson has warmly congratulated wheelchair curler Angela Malone for receiving an award in today’s Queen’s Birthday Honours.

“On behalf of British Curling I would like to extend my congratulations to Sochi Paralympic Bronze medallist Angela Malone who was made an MBE for her services to wheelchair curling,” he said.

“Angela Malone has accumulated many honours in her career and becoming a Member of the Order of the British Empire is recognition of her achievements as a great ambassador for our sport and her contribution in inspiring others to participate in wheelchair curling.”
